I didn't have time to post and actually finished my last afghan at 12:30PM on Christmas Eve, so now I am playing catch-up with my posting.
Just a quiet spot where I can share my love of crafts. I have a yarn, fabric, pattern and loom addiction. I am a brain-stem stroke survivor, you can stop in at Raverly.com and say hi, my name is barbarabradford

Round Ripples For The Twins
My twin grandson's room is done in Western decor. I wanted to keep them similar, but also needed some way to tell the afghans apart. The two round Ripple's had each center just changed, one red and one black.

Joey's Round Ripple is Finished
My Tennessee, nephew's Round Ripple for Christmas. Joey is a big Detroit Lion's football fan, As of today, what 11 losses in a row? Doesn't matter though Joey still loves them. This tri-color Round Ripple is crocheted with a G Hook, from I Love This Yarn! in #90 Navy, #190 Light Gray and #250 Dark Country Blue to match his dad's afghan. This afghan ended up being 72 inches from point to point.
This is my very handsome nephew, Joey. Joey has Downs. His favorite past-time is reading books, and giving the best hugs in Tennessee.
I am looming both Joey and his Dad hats to match their afghans, that way they will be snuggy from head to toe. Now I just have to get these wrapped and sent out.
On another note, my husband ordered me a new Annie's Attic book today, Special Techniques & Stitches Afghans. He fell in love with a spiral-ghan pattern. Perhaps I can make a switch after Christmas to some spirals.

I sure hope you will all have a wonderful, Blessed Thanksgiving.

Yellow and Black Scarf
This was the scarf I was trying to make to match the hat I had made earlier. Well as you can see from the first pic I didn't have enough black yarn to make a long enough scarf. It ended
up being only 51 inches. My weekend trip to Hobby Lobby I grabbed a couple more skeins of both the
black and yellow. Not sure what's going on, but there are two prices on all the I Love This Yarn!, some are
$2.79 and other were $2.49.
Back to the scarf problem, I had to change dye lots, so I am going to use a yellow stripe to break between
dye lots.
This isn't a pattern just a hdc stitch.

Materials:
Worsted Weight yarn MC BlackWorsted Weight yarn CC Yellow
Crochet Hook Size H
PATTERN:
ch 23, Row 1: hdc in third ch from the hook and in each ch across. ch 2 (counts as first hdc), and turnRow 2: hdc in each hdc across.
TIP: Always count your stitches when doing a scarf, it's very noticeable when you are short one or add an
extra stitch. I also end a color and then tie on the new color at the beginning of a row.
Repeat Row 2 until your scarf measures approx 51 inches, that's where I ran out of yarn. Attach CC (yellow
on the example)
I marked my right side of the scarf and added (1 row of yellow, and 3 rows of black) 5 times. Repeat at the
other end of the scarf. Finish off
