Traveling with your Crochet & Knitting Projects

I have found it is best to travel with a small amount of yarn.

That way you can plan your stops by scanning for nearby Hobby Lobbys or Michaels....

This one just happens to be in Amarillo, Texas and would you know after a break in the drive shopping for yarn sales,

right across the street is a super bakery, with the best sandwiches. The rye bread for the ruebens is a work of art.
We have never been stopped and checked at state lines for bringing 4 ply yarn across.

Of course I usually carry a DQ blizzard just in case. This is a luscious, choco-cherry one that was their Valentines Day Special.

I love those chocolate-cherry Dairy Queen Blizzards! They are the best anywhere.

Hope you're home safe and sound soon. Will you be staying awhile this time? I love a road trip, but there's no place like home for me.
